The Firm Behind The Systems

Built from real healthcare operations. Not theory.

Poiema Health Group exists because healthcare organizations deserve operational infrastructure that was intentionally designed, not inherited by accident.

Founder's note

Guiding Ethos

David Knight founded Poiema Health Group after years of operational roles across military service, telehealth, nonprofit work, recovery community leadership, and psychiatric group practice leadership. The pattern was always the same: build systems that serve people who need them.

The PHG approach comes from real operational work inside real healthcare organizations. Study the organization before changing it. Design the system before configuring it. Build it right the first time. Own the operational layer so the clinician does not have to.

That is the philosophical foundation of this firm. Healthcare operations should be intentionally designed, not left to chance, workarounds, and staff memory. Every system PHG builds reflects that standard.

Ephesians 2:10

"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."

The Name

What Poiema means.

Poiema is the Greek word behind workmanship. Deriving from Ephesians 2:10 "For we are His workmanship..." It points to something intentionally crafted, made on purpose, and used in service of others for others, with the purpose of good works.

The Distinction

What PHG is and is not.

PHG services poster showing core operational systems PHG builds.
Not

A consulting firm

PHG does not deliver a report and leave.

Not

A staffing company

PHG does not place workers in your practice.

Not

An admin vendor

PHG is not a task service.

Is

An embedded operational partner

PHG functions inside the organization.

Is

A systems builder

Every engagement produces operating infrastructure.

Is

A long-term infrastructure layer

The goal is a foundation the organization can run on.

A calmer next step

Start with the systems conversation, not a sales pitch.

PHG uses the System Review to understand how your operation actually works, where the friction lives, and what kind of support would be responsible.
