PHG FAQs

Questions PHG hears most.

Direct answers for practice owners, launching organizations, and providers considering an engagement.

About PHG

What is Poiema Health Group?

PHG is a healthcare operations firm that designs, builds, and runs the operational infrastructure around independent medical practices and healthcare organizations.

Is PHG a consulting firm?

No. Consultants deliver recommendations. PHG delivers functioning operational systems: configured technology, documented workflows, and an operating environment the organization actually runs on.

Does PHG provide clinical services?

No. PHG does not see patients and does not provide clinical services. PHG builds and operates the environment that allows clinicians to do their work.

Engagements

How does PHG structure its engagements?

PHG offers Project-Based, Practice Launch, and Fractional COO engagements based on scope and commitment level.

How do I know which tier is right?

The System Review is designed to determine this. If you need one deliverable, Project-Based may fit. If you are launching or rebuilding, Practice Launch may fit. If you need ongoing operational ownership, Fractional COO may fit.

Does PHG work outside Florida?

PHG's current engagements are based in Florida, but much of the operational work is remote. PHG will assess fit during the System Review.

System Review

What is a System Review call?

The System Review is a focused 30-minute call where PHG maps how your operation currently works, where it breaks, and what infrastructure may be needed.

What should I prepare?

Nothing formal is required. Come ready to talk about your EHR, intake process, staffing, and the operational problems costing the most time.

Is there any cost or commitment?

No. The System Review is at no cost and there is no obligation after the call.

Working With PHG

Does PHG sign a formal agreement?

Yes. All PHG engagements are governed by a Management Services Agreement that defines scope, deliverables, confidentiality, and compliance obligations.

How does PHG handle HIPAA and patient data?

PHG builds compliance awareness into every engagement and does not handle PHI unless specifically scoped and governed by appropriate agreements.

What happens if the engagement is not working?

PHG's agreements include clear terms for disengagement. The System Review exists so both parties understand fit before commitment.

Still not sure where your situation fits?

A calmer next step

Start with the systems conversation, not a sales pitch.

PHG uses the System Review to understand how your operation actually works, where the friction lives, and what kind of support would be responsible.
